Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones in Temple of Doom
With that context, let me start over.Yesterday afternoon I took Oliver to his physical therapist to work on his torticollis. The muscle is so tight that Oliver really favors looking to the left. . .all the time, which is resulting in a flat spot. Flat spots are good if you plan on sleeping on the floor all your life but Oliver isn't so, we're getting it fixed. Plus, we don't really want to cough up 6 grand for a helmet if we don't have to. This is the 2nd time we've gone and Oliver has been super good, even while Katrina pulls and stretched his neck up, down, sideways, and all around.
At one point, he was laying on his back and looking up at me and he started grinning and did for longer than he's ever done before. I picked him up when we were all done and he smiled again and got all excited and made a couple of laugh-like sounds while doing so. I'm actually an expert in determining laugh-like sounds in infants and in my professional opinion, I'm labeling this as Oliver's first official laugh.
Ha ha ha!
