Height 28 1/4 inches (50th percentile)
Weight 19 lbs (25th percentile)
Eating Habits: Size 2 baby foods w/5 oz bottle every 4-5 hours
Diapers: Size 3

Accomplishments
You've mastered pulling yourself up on things including the couch, stair railings, your crib, chairs, the ottomans, and human legs.  And you're fast!

One of your favorite things is for us to help you walk around by holding your hands.

You started daycare this month at Kids Inc and your teachers are Ms. Kendra, Ms. Katie, Ms. Jessie and Ms. Amanda.  You are doing really well, in spite of the fact that you won't  take naps.

.
You love bath time.

You are can do an Indian war cry with your hand over your mouth.
You can wave  hi and bye-bye and give high 5's!
You are starting to "talk" a little and we think you are calling us A-ma for Mommy and A-da for Daddy.

Peek-a-boo, Chase Lincoln are 2 of your favorite games; and you seem to love a little mischief.
You are definitely a social butterfly.

First Cold

Oliver developed his first cold over Easter weekend. It started with his right eye being swollen, progressed into a runny nose, and a cough and then he barfed out of his nose, right after family pictures. He has been running a low grade fever for the last 2 days, hopefully this means some teeth are on the way.

This incident, was NOTHING compared to the throw up on the way home. We were still on the road trip from Page; 30 minutes from our house, in the ghetto's of Phoenix, when O decided to upchuck the entire contents of his stomach. We had to throw away his "My First Easter" bib he was wearing....it was unsalvageable. Luckily we were close to a freeway exit and were able to get him all cleaned up at the QT gas station...
Happy Easter.

Cute!

There is no other reason for this post other than to display the cuteness that is Oliver.

First Haircut

Oliver got his first haircut this week. In case you don't remember what his hair looked like before, here's a reminder:

Yeah, it was about time to lop that statically charged lock right off. The result you see here:

As you can see, Oliver was ecstatic about his new "do"

8 Months

Height: 27 1/4 inches
Weight: 16 lbs, 9 oz
Eating Habits: 4-5 oz bottles w/ fruits, veggies, and meats, and water
6 oz bottle for bed
Diapers: Size 3

Accomplishments:
You really move across the floor now in your army crawl technique. You started pushing up on your knees, which has caused you to faceplant a few times, but you realize it gets you places faster so you persist!
More suspected teething activity yet no actual teeth yet. Quit teasing!

You've tried animal cracker, pretzel, apple, lemons (love those), pizza crust

Your baby babble has gotten more varied. You've really discovered your voice! You make noises by moving your tongue around and you like it when Daddy vibrates your throat to make funny noises.
