9 Months



Height 27.5 inches
Weight 18.6 lbs
Eating Habits: Size 2 baby foods w/5 oz bottle every 4-5 hours
You have tried pretty much everything out there, except veal and chitlins. You tried flavored baby puffs and dried fruit bites, crackers, bananas, jelly beans, chocolate, french fries (always fries), and pancakes.
Diapers: Size 3

Accomplishments
You've gotten to be a very quick belly scooter.  Your big accomplishment this month is that you've started pulling yourself up on things, as seen below:




You really started to babble a lot this month, particularly just before and while you are eating.  You say "babababababababababa" or "myum myum myum"

First Haircut

Oliver got his first haircut this week. In case you don't remember what his hair looked like before, here's a reminder:

Yeah, it was about time to lop that statically charged lock right off. The result you see here:


As you can see, Oliver was ecstatic about his new "do"

8 Months


Height: 27 1/4 inches
Weight: 16 lbs, 9 oz
Eating Habits: 4-5 oz bottles w/ fruits, veggies, and meats, and water
6 oz bottle for bed
Diapers: Size 3

Accomplishments:
You really move across the floor now in your army crawl technique. You started pushing up on your knees, which has caused you to faceplant a few times, but you realize it gets you places faster so you persist!
More suspected teething activity yet no actual teeth yet. Quit teasing!

You've tried animal cracker, pretzel, apple, lemons (love those), pizza crust

Your baby babble has gotten more varied. You've really discovered your voice! You make noises by moving your tongue around and you like it when Daddy vibrates your throat to make funny noises.






7 Months

 Eating Habits: 4-6 oz bottles w/ bananas, applesauce, and pears
6 oz bottle for bed
Diapers: Size 3

Accomplishments:
You started to scoot forward on your tummy.
Suspected teething activity though no dental visibility
Went on your first airplane ride (to Utah) and did very well!

Oliver Crawls!

This was the scene only moments ago as Oliver Jensen crawled forward for the very first time in an attempt to ensnare Mommy's cell phone.

Thus, a new phase begins!
